  • bugs
    • improper double-buffering causes flicker
    • code isn't truly object-oriented
    • double clicks aren't properly trapped
    • delays when selecting some UI elements


  • limitations
    • no grammar parser
    • no support for styled or colored text
    • no means to mark-up text
    • no support for embedded media
    • limited message handling
    • no built in help or tool tips
    • no indication of load status
    • display & control dimensions and positions are hard coded, should be passed as parameters and made to accommodate resizing
